What If We Killed All Spiders?

They’re in your yard, on your walls, in your attic, and there’s probably one near you right now. The thought of these creepy crawlers might make you want to go on an immediate spider crusade. With global numbers in the quadrillions, it would be 2.8 million spiders versus every human. My bet is on the spiders. Maybe with a large-scale international effort, spiders could be eradicated. Just imagine a spider free world! What would happen to other bugs? Would we see an increase in disease? How would it change the future of medicine?

We don’t know if those events are related somehow, but 30 days is also enough to pump up your arms and fill out your t-shirts with muscle! Trust me, I’d know, and here’s what I did!

For starters, I measured the thickest part of my biceps: 14 inches even. I did it again 30 days later to see my progress, which ended up being more than I’d ever guess! I didn’t buy any gym equipment – just used my own body weight at home! But, guys, keep in mind that your arms aren’t just about the biceps. If you want really big arms, you need to work on your triceps too. So, here are exercises that’ll help you get the arms of your dreams in no time.

What If We Could Refreeze the Arctic?

The Arctic might soon become completely ice-free. And when all of the ice is gone, the world won’t be the same. And while politics seems to keep failing to reach a consensus on how to act, the only way to save the ice may be to intervene directly. We look at radical geoengineering proposals that aim to do just that. We could bring the ice back to the Arctic with the help of huge wind-powered water pumps, we could help the young Arctic ice reflect more sunlight by covering it with small, shiny silica microspheres or try cutting off the Sun’s rays by creating more clouds. But would the cost be worth it?
